    SANKTOLEONO is an Athens-based artisanal jewellery brand, created in 2014, to explore nature-related themes and idiosyncratic sculptural ideas expressed in brass and silver.

     

    It draws inspiration from the shapes and textures found in nature and the fleeting geometry of transition elements, forms oscillating from liquid to solid, primeval to futuristic, earthly and ethereal, sinister and divine. This phase transition results in intricate yet assertive pieces charged with meaning, tokens of a vigorous creative process and design ethos.

     

    All SANKTOLEONO items are hand sculpted using traditional techniques combining locally sourced materials and semi-precious stones. SANKTOLEONO collaborates closely with local artisans to handcraft each piece of jewellery in a tight ecosystem of design and production, all part of an ongoing offering that is not bound by seasonality. By encouraging limited edition runs, one of a kind and bespoke items, SANKTOLEONO embodies ambition and authenticity, seeking to create unique pieces of jewellery that emit sparks of spirituality and alchemy before settling in their new form.
